How much does an in-home consultation cost?
In-home consultations are $125 within a 30-mile radius. That visit covers exact measurements, a look at the flooring issues, species identification, and prep notes for your quote. The visit fee is deducted from your final invoice if you move forward with the work.
Do I need to move out while the work is done?
Most jobs don't require it. Clean & buff, wax removal, and screen & recoat are low-disruption by design, and our UV curing technology sets the finish instantly, so you can walk on the floor the same day instead of waiting through a multi-day cure.
What's the difference between screen & recoat and a full refinish?
Screen & recoat lightly abrades the existing finish and adds a fresh protective topcoat, it's for floors that show wear but aren't damaged down to bare wood. A full UV-cured refinish goes further and is the right call when the finish itself has failed or the wood needs to be reset.
How do I know if my floor needs clean & buff or wax removal?
Clean & buff is for floors that look dull or lightly scratched but are otherwise healthy. Wax removal is specifically for floors with old wax buildup, cloudy, sticky, or yellowed. If you're not sure which one applies, that's exactly what the in-home consultation is for. We'll look at the floor and tell you honestly.
Do you work on countertops as well as floors?
Yes. We offer countertop cleaning and polishing alongside our hardwood floor services, and can usually handle both in the same visit if you need it.
How long does a typical job take?
Most clean & buff, wax removal, and screen & recoat visits are completed in a single day. UV-cured refinishing is also same-day since the finish cures instantly instead of over several days. Larger jobs or full sanding work may take longer depending on the scope, which we'll walk through during your consultation.
Do you travel outside Fayetteville?
Fayetteville, NC, Fort Bragg, and the surrounding communities. Traveling out of state for larger jobs is available for an added travel fee. Call for details.
